Here's a breakdown of who needs to attend which trainings, their purposes, and how you can get each one done with Applied. 

What’s Required and When? 

Within 90 Days of Hire 

If you have a new hire, you will need DOT training within 90 days!  The FDA (Food and Drug Administration) requires cGMP training, too, before you can let your new filler out on their own. 

Every 3 years 

The US DOT requires that every employee receive three types of training at least every 3 years and within 90 days of the start of employment for new employees. The employees who should have this training are all drivers, loaders, and people in charge of the storage of oxygen cylinders for ANY amount of oxygen delivered (1 cylinder to over 1,001 lbs.). The three types of training are:  

• Job Specific Training 
• Safety training for hazardous material  
• HazMat Security Awareness Training  

Annually and Continuous 

Personnel training in Current Good Manufacturing Processes is required by law. (21 CFR 211.25) The Code of Federal Regulations and the FDA require that employees manufacturing, processing, packing, or handling the drug have this training as it relates to the employee's job function. This training must also be given on a frequent and continuing basis and be documented. • Date: Thursday, August 22nd, 2024

2. DOT and FDA Regulatory Compliance Seminar Live Stream: 

• Date:  Thursday, November 14th, 2024 
• Time: 10:00am – 4:00pm EST 
• Location: Live Stream (Zoom Webinar) 
• Focus: We will be live-streaming our popular full-day seminar that covers everything you need to meet oxygen training requirements! Live stream attendees will be sent a link for accessing the seminar live stream the day before the event along with seminar materials.
